The Brooks Ghost 18 is an ideal choice for neutral runners and walkers seeking a dependable, cushioned shoe for daily mileage and everyday comfort. It excels by providing soft, nitrogen-infused landings and a secure, adaptive fit that accommodates various foot shapes, though it is primarily designed for road use and may not offer the rugged traction needed for technical trail running.

The redesigned engineered mesh upper is built to adapt to a wide variety of foot shapes, providing a versatile and accommodating fit.
The RoadTack rubber outsole is designed specifically for road use; it does not have the deep lugs required for stable traction on technical trails.
Clean them by hand using a damp cloth and mild soap. Never machine wash or tumble dry your running shoes.
DNA LOFT v3 uses nitrogen-infusion to provide a balance of soft, pillowy landings and effective energy return for a smoother transition.
No, the Ghost 18 is a neutral road running shoe designed for runners who do not require extra arch support or motion control features.
Try adjusting the lacing pattern to a 'window lacing' or 'parallel' style to alleviate pressure on the sensitive metatarsal area.
Use a soft-bristled brush to gently remove dry dirt before wiping with a damp cloth.
Utilize the extra eyelet at the top of the lacing system to create a 'runner's loop' or 'heel lock' to secure the ankle.
To maximize the lifespan of your Ghost 18s, ensure you have the correct size to allow for natural foot expansion; the fit should be secure in the midfoot with adequate space in the toe box. For care, avoid machine washing or drying, as this can break down the foam and adhesives. Instead, wipe away surface mud with a damp cloth and mild soap. If the interior gets wet, remove the insoles and air dry them at room temperature away from direct heat sources like radiators, which can warp the cushioning materials.
