The Brooks Ghost 18 is a high-performance trainer designed for adult runners who prioritize a smooth, consistent ride during daily training sessions. It excels by offering a perfect blend of advanced, responsive cushioning and a highly breathable upper that keeps feet cool over long distances; however, users should be aware that its specialized ergonomic design is optimized primarily for road and light path running rather than technical off-road terrain.

The Ghost 18 is primarily designed for road running. While they perform well on light, hard-packed trails, they are not intended for technical or muddy off-road terrain.
Use a soft brush to remove loose dirt and a damp cloth with mild soap for surface stains. Never put them in a washing machine or dryer.
The shoe features an ergonomic fit that provides neutral support, suitable for most runner foot types.
The Ghost 18 generally follows standard adult sizing. If you prefer extra room for thicker socks, consider a half-size up.
The upper is constructed from an engineered breathable mesh designed to optimize ventilation.
Yes, the standard insole is removable, allowing you to insert custom orthotics if required.
Loosen the lace tension in the midfoot area and ensure you are wearing appropriate moisture-wicking running socks.
Wipe the outsole clean of any debris or caked-on mud; ensure the tread is not heavily worn down.
Check if the inner liner is smooth and free of debris; ensure the tongue is centered and not bunched under the laces.
To ensure your Brooks Ghost 18 trainers last as long as possible, start by adjusting the laces to match your foot shape—do not over-tighten, as the ergonomic design is meant to work with the shoe's natural structure. To clean, remove excess dirt with a soft brush after your run and use a damp cloth with mild soap for deeper stains. Always air dry in a well-ventilated area away from direct heat sources, such as radiators, which can degrade the cushioning foam and adhesive bonds.
