Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Brooks Ghost 18 trainers perform optimally, start by ensuring a proper fit; there should be a thumb's width of space between your longest toe and the front of the shoe. If you use custom orthotics, the internal space is generally generous enough to accommodate most standard inserts. For care, avoid machine washing or drying, as high heat can degrade the foam integrity and glue bonds. Instead, remove loose dirt with a soft brush and clean the exterior with a damp cloth and mild soap. If the shoes become soaked, remove the sockliner and air dry them away from direct heat sources like radiators.
