Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your Brooks Ghost 18, it is important to follow proper maintenance steps. For the initial fit, ensure you have approximately a thumb's width of space between your longest toe and the front of the shoe to allow for natural foot swelling during runs. For cleaning, remove surface dirt with a soft brush after use and wipe the upper with a damp cloth; do not submerge the shoes in water or put them in the washing machine, as this can degrade the foam and adhesive. To maintain the cushioning integrity, allow the shoes to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources like radiators, which can harden the midsole foam.
