Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your Puma Deviate Nitro 4 trainers, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Break-in Period: If you are new to carbon-plated shoes, use them for shorter, easy runs for the first few outings to allow your feet to adapt to the propulsion mechanics.
- Cleaning: Remove loose dirt with a soft brush after your run. Wipe the midsole with a damp cloth if needed. Avoid washing machines or dryers, as heat can damage the foam and adhesive.
- Drying: Air dry naturally away from direct heat sources like radiators, which can warp the mesh upper or degrade the foam.
- Rotation: If you run daily, consider rotating with another pair of shoes to allow the NITROFOAM to fully decompress between sessions, which helps maintain the shoe's responsiveness for a longer period.
