Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your Puma Deviate NITRO 4 trainers, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Break-in Period: If you are new to carbon-plated shoes, use them for shorter runs initially to allow your lower legs and feet to adapt to the propulsion mechanics.
- Cleaning: Clean the exterior using a soft-bristled brush and mild soap. Avoid submerging the shoes in water or using abrasive chemicals.
- Drying: Air dry the trainers at room temperature. Never place them in a clothes dryer or near a direct heat source, as extreme heat can warp the foam and compromise the adhesive.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent the upper materials and foam from degrading prematurely.
