Setup: These boots require no complex setup. Simply unbox, lace them up, and ensure a snug, comfortable fit before heading to the pitch. It's recommended to break them in gradually during lighter training sessions to allow the materials to conform to your foot.
Compatibility: The Nike Phantom Luna II Academy FG MG boots are specifically designed for Firm Ground (FG), which includes most natural grass pitches, and Multi-Ground (MG), suitable for artificial grass surfaces. They are not recommended for very soft, muddy natural grass or extremely abrasive artificial turf, as this can affect performance and durability.
Care:
- After Each Use: Remove loose dirt and debris from the upper and soleplate using a soft brush (a dedicated boot brush or an old toothbrush works well).
- Clean: Wipe the boots down with a damp cloth. For stubborn dirt, use a mild soap solution, but avoid harsh chemicals.
- Drying: Allow the boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not expose them to direct heat sources like radiators, heaters, or direct sunlight, as this can damage the materials and adhesives. You can stuff them with newspaper to absorb moisture and help maintain their shape.
- Storage: Store your boots in a cool, dry place. Avoid leaving them in damp bags or direct sunlight for extended periods.
- Insole: The padded insole can be removed for separate airing and cleaning if needed.
