Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Sizing: Ensure you have the correct size for a snug yet comfortable fit. Ill-fitting boots can lead to discomfort and affect performance.
- Putting On: The soft, stretchy collar is designed for a secure fit. Gently pull the boot on, ensuring your heel sits properly in the asymmetric heel section to minimize irritation.
- Lacing: Lace them securely but not overly tight. You want a fit that locks your foot in place without restricting circulation.
Compatibility
These boots are equipped with a Multi-Ground (FG/MG) soleplate, making them compatible with:
- Firm Ground (FG): Natural grass pitches that are firm and not excessively wet or muddy.
- Artificial Grass (AG): Modern synthetic turf surfaces.
Avoid using these boots on indoor courts, concrete, or extremely soft/muddy natural grass to prevent premature wear and ensure optimal performance.
Care
Regular cleaning and care will extend the life and maintain the performance of your Phantom Luna II boots:
- After Each Use: Remove excess mud and dirt using a soft brush or damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- Cleaning: For deeper cleaning, use a mild soap and water solution. Gently scrub the exterior and soleplate. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
- Drying: Allow the boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not expose them to direct sunlight or artificial heat sources, as this can damage the materials.
- Storage: Store them in a cool, dry place, ideally with newspaper inside to absorb moisture and help maintain their shape.
