Setup, Compatibility & Care
Initial Setup
- Lacing: Ensure laces are tight but comfortable, providing a secure, snug fit around your foot. Experiment with lacing patterns to find what works best for your foot shape.
- Break-in Period: Like all new football boots, these may require a short break-in period. Wear them for a few light training sessions before a full match to allow them to mold to your feet.
Compatibility
- Surfaces: These boots are designed as Multi-Ground (FG/MG), making them suitable for use on both natural grass pitches and artificial grass (turf) surfaces.
- Player Type: Ideal for players who prioritize agility, precision, and disruptive play, such as creative midfielders (No.10s) and forwards (pure finishers).
- Fit: The design provides a snug fit. Consider your foot width when purchasing.
Care and Maintenance
Proper care extends the life of your boots and maintains their performance:
- Cleaning: After each use, wipe down the boots with a damp cloth to remove dirt and mud. For stubborn dirt, a soft brush can be used carefully on the upper and soleplate.
- Drying: Allow boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Avoid direct heat sources like radiators or sunlight, as this can damage materials and cause cracking.
- Storage: Store boots in a cool, dry place. Using boot trees or stuffing them with newspaper can help maintain their shape and absorb moisture.
- Avoid Machine Washing: Never machine wash your football boots, as this can severely damage the materials and construction.
