Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Begin by ensuring your socks are comfortable and free of creases.
- Slide your foot into the boot, utilizing the soft, stretchy `anatomical mesh cuff` to guide your foot in.
- Adjust the `asymmetric heel section` to sit comfortably around your heel, ensuring the offset seams do not cause any pressure points.
- Lace the boots firmly from bottom to top, securing them to a snug but not overly tight fit. A secure lacing helps optimize the `NikeSkin touch zone` for ball control.
Compatibility:
These boots are equipped with a `Multi-Ground (FG/MG)` soleplate, making them suitable for use on:
- Firm Ground (FG): Natural grass pitches that are firm and dry.
- Artificial Grass (AG): Modern artificial turf surfaces.
Avoid using these boots on soft ground (SG) or indoor surfaces, as the stud configuration is not optimized for those conditions.
Care:
To extend the lifespan and maintain the performance of your Nike Phantom Luna II boots:
- After each use, especially after playing on wet or muddy surfaces, gently wipe the boots clean with a damp cloth to remove dirt and debris.
- Use a soft brush (like an old toothbrush) to clean dirt from around the studs and soleplate.
- Allow the boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Avoid direct heat sources like radiators or sunlight, as this can damage materials.
- Stuff the boots with newspaper to help absorb moisture and maintain their shape while drying.
- Store boots in a cool, dry place away from extreme temperatures.
