Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup Instructions
- Prepare the Surface: Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust, dirt, or loose material. For previously painted surfaces, sand lightly to create a key and wipe clean. Fill any cracks or holes and allow them to dry completely.
- Prime (if necessary): For new, bare, or highly porous surfaces, apply an appropriate primer to ensure optimal adhesion and a consistent finish.
- Stir Thoroughly: Before and periodically during use, stir the paint well to ensure the color and consistency are uniform.
- Application Tools: Use a good quality synthetic brush for cutting in and edges, and a suitable roller for larger areas to achieve the best flat matt finish.
Compatibility
This paint is specifically formulated for interior use and is compatible with:
- Interior walls
- Ceilings
- Interior wooden surfaces (e.g., skirting boards, door frames)
Care and Maintenance
- Drying Time: Allow adequate drying time between coats (typically 2-4 hours, but always check label). Avoid applying additional coats before the previous one is sufficiently dry.
- Tool Cleaning: Clean brushes and rollers immediately after use with warm water and a mild detergent.
- Surface Cleaning: Once fully cured (typically 7-14 days), painted surfaces can be gently wiped clean with a damp, soft cloth if needed. Avoid harsh scrubbing or abrasive cleaners, as flat matt finishes can be more susceptible to marking.
