Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Lacing: Ensure the laces are securely tied, providing a snug but not overly tight fit. Experiment with different lacing patterns to find the most comfortable feel for your foot.
- Breaking In: Like all new football boots, allow for a brief break-in period. Wear them during lighter training sessions before competitive matches to adapt to their fit and feel.
Compatibility
- Pitch Types: The MG (Multi-Ground) soleplate is specifically designed for use on both Firm Ground (FG) natural grass pitches and Artificial Ground (AG) synthetic turf surfaces. Avoid using these boots on soft, muddy pitches (SG) or indoor courts (IC), as this can damage the boots and reduce performance.
- Age Group: These boots are sized for kids/youth, specified as UK 4.5 (adult equivalent) or UK 4 (children's equivalent).
Care
Proper care extends the life and performance of your football boots:
- Cleaning After Use: Immediately after playing, wipe off mud and dirt using a damp cloth. For stubborn dirt, a soft brush can be used on the soleplate.
- Air Drying: Allow the boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Avoid direct sunlight or artificial heat sources (like radiators), as this can cause the material to crack or stiffen.
- Storage: Store boots in a cool, dry place. Using shoe trees can help maintain their shape and absorb moisture.
- Avoid Washing Machines: Do not machine wash your boots, as this can damage the materials and adhesives.
