Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Ensure the sealant gun is loaded with the 290ml cartridge.
- Cut the nozzle tip at a 45-degree angle to achieve the desired bead width.
- Puncture the inner seal of the cartridge.
- Apply an even bead of sealant to the joint or gap, holding the gun at a consistent angle.
- Smooth the bead using a wet finger, spatula, or smoothing tool within 10-15 minutes of application for a neat finish.
- Remove excess sealant immediately.
Compatibility:
This sealant is compatible with blockwork, brick, concrete, masonry, aluminium, hardwood, and uPVC. It is suitable for interior and exterior use. Always test on a small, inconspicuous area if unsure about adhesion to a specific material.
Care:
Once cured, the sealant is durable and requires minimal care. Clean application tools and any excess uncured sealant with a damp cloth. Cured sealant can typically be removed mechanically. For prolonged longevity, ensure surfaces remain free from excessive dirt or debris that could compromise the seal's integrity.
