Evo-Stik Frame Silicone Sealant - 290ml - Grey - C20

This product is generally not designed to be painted over. It is best used as a visible sealant finish.

Unused cartridges should be stored in cool, dry conditions below 25°C. Typically, shelf life is around 12 months if stored correctly.

Skin formation occurs within 15-20 minutes. Full cure can take 24-48 hours depending on bead size, temperature, and humidity.

This sealant is designed for high movement joints. For very large gaps, ensure they are appropriately sized for the sealant's movement capability (up to 25% joint width) and consider backing rod if necessary.

The product is typically applied between 5°C and 30°C. Check the product packaging for specific temperature recommendations.

While it offers excellent waterproofing, it's specifically designed for frame sealing. For bathrooms, consider a dedicated mould-resistant silicone sealant if preventing mould growth is the primary concern.

The colour (Grey, White, Clear) is purely aesthetic and does not affect the performance or application properties of the sealant.

Ensure the cartridge's inner seal is fully pierced and the sealant gun's trigger mechanism is engaged properly.

Verify the surface is clean, dry, and free from dust, oil, or other contaminants. Ensure no primer was used if the substrate required it (though this product is primerless for many common materials).

Practice applying consistent pressure to the sealant gun. Use a wet smoothing tool or finger immediately after application to create a clean finish. Remove excess immediately with a damp cloth.

Ensure application occurred within the recommended temperature range and that the surface was properly prepared. Curing time can vary based on temperature, humidity, and bead width.
