Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
Getting started with your Salomon XT-6 trainers is straightforward thanks to the Quicklace system. Simply pull the lace firmly to tighten, ensuring an even snugness across your foot. To loosen, press the release button on the lace lock and pull the upper part of the laces. Tuck the excess lace into the dedicated lace pocket on the tongue to prevent snagging.
Compatibility:
These trainers are primarily designed for rugged outdoor use, making them ideal companions for trail running, hiking, and exploring varied terrain. Their features like Mud Contagrip and the Agile Chassis System are optimized for performance on natural surfaces, including dirt, mud, gravel, and rocky paths. While stylish for casual wear, their technical features are best utilized in their intended environment.
Care:
Proper care will extend the life and performance of your XT-6 trainers. The outer composition is 100% Fabric, with a 100% Synthetic Rubber sole.
- Cleaning: After outdoor use, remove excess dirt and mud by gently tapping the soles together. Use a soft brush or damp cloth with mild soap and water to clean the upper and midsole. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- Drying: Allow your trainers to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not expose them to direct heat sources like radiators or direct sunlight, as this can damage materials and adhesives.
- Storage: Store them in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
- Insoles: The OrthoLite insoles can be removed for separate cleaning and airing, which helps reduce odor and maintain freshness.
