Setup, Compatibility & Care
Initial Setup
- Lacing: Ensure the shoes are laced snugly but not overly tight. Use all eyelets to create a secure lockdown, especially around the ankle, to prevent slippage.
- Fit Check: Wear your usual running socks. The fit should feel secure, with about a thumb's width between your longest toe and the end of the shoe. Your heel should feel locked in with minimal movement.
Compatibility
- Running Type: These shoes are optimized for road running, track workouts, and competitive racing. They are suitable for neutral pronation.
- Activities: Best suited for training sessions, speed work, tempo runs, and race day. Not recommended as a general-purpose shoe for walking, gym workouts, or other sports due to its specialized design and carbon plate structure.
Care & Maintenance
Proper care extends the life and performance of your Endorphin Pro 4 shoes:
- Cleaning: Gently brush off loose dirt or mud with a soft brush after runs. For deeper cleaning, hand wash using mild soap (like dish soap) and cold water. Avoid harsh detergents or machine washing.
- Drying: Always air dry your shoes at room temperature, away from direct sunlight or heat sources (like radiators or tumble dryers). Stuffing them with newspaper can help absorb moisture and maintain their shape.
- Storage: Store your shoes in a cool, dry place. Avoid leaving them in direct sunlight or extreme temperatures.
- Rotation: For optimal longevity, especially if you run frequently, consider rotating your Endorphin Pro 4 with other training shoes. This allows the cushioning to recover and reduces wear and tear on one pair.
