Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
Getting started with your Endorphin Pro 4 is straightforward:
- Lacing: Ensure proper lacing for a secure, comfortable fit. Experiment with different lacing patterns if you experience pressure points or heel slippage. The flat knit tongue should sit smoothly over your instep.
- Initial Feel: These shoes are designed for performance. Allow a short adaptation period for your feet and running mechanics to adjust to the aggressive SPEEDROLL geometry and carbon plate.
Compatibility
- Runner Type: Ideal for neutral runners.
- Surface: Best suited for asphalt and road surfaces.
- Usage: Primarily designed for competition, tempo runs, and speed training.
- Gender & Age: Women's adult running shoe.
- Drop: Features an 8mm drop, which is a common preference for many runners.
Care Instructions
Proper care extends the life and performance of your running shoes:
- Cleaning: Gently remove dirt and debris after runs. Use a soft brush or cloth with mild soap and cold water for spot cleaning. Avoid harsh detergents or machine washing, as this can damage the materials and bonding agents.
- Drying: Always air dry your shoes away from direct heat sources (like radiators or direct sunlight). Stuffing them with newspaper can help absorb moisture and maintain their shape.
- Storage: Store your shoes in a cool, dry place. Avoid leaving them in direct sunlight or extreme temperatures, which can degrade the foam and upper materials.
- Rotation: For optimal performance and longevity, especially given their specialized nature, consider rotating your Endorphin Pro 4s with other training shoes. This allows the cushioning foams to fully rebound between uses.
