Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
Setting up your Nike Zoom Fly 6 is straightforward:
- Lacing: Unlace the shoes sufficiently to easily insert your foot.
- Insert Foot: Slide your foot into the shoe, ensuring your heel is seated comfortably at the back.
- Adjust Laces: Begin tightening the laces from the bottom (closest to the toe) upwards, ensuring a snug but not overly tight fit across the top of your foot. There should be no pinching or excessive pressure points.
- Tie Laces: Secure the laces with a double knot to prevent them from coming undone during your run.
Compatibility
- User Age Group: Designed for adults.
- Running Surfaces: Optimized for road running, track, and paved surfaces.
- Apparel: Compatible with standard athletic socks and running attire.
Care
To prolong the life and maintain the performance of your Nike Zoom Fly 6:
- Cleaning: Gently wipe the exterior with a damp cloth and mild soap to remove dirt. Avoid harsh chemicals or machine washing, as these can damage materials and adhesives.
- Drying: Allow shoes to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not use direct heat sources like radiators or tumble dryers, as this can cause materials to shrink or warp.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Avoid storing in damp or humid environments.
- Rotation: If you run frequently, consider rotating between two pairs of running shoes to allow each pair to fully dry out and recover between uses, extending their lifespan.
