Setup, Compatibility & Care
To set up your Velosamba shoes, install a standard two-bolt mountain bike cleat onto the mounting plate located on the sole. Ensure all bolts are tightened to the manufacturer's torque specifications to prevent slippage during your ride.
Regarding compatibility, these shoes are strictly designed for two-bolt cleat systems (often called SPD style). They are not compatible with three-bolt road cleats. For care, wipe down the leather uppers with a damp cloth after rides in wet or muddy conditions. Avoid submerging the shoes in water. If the interior becomes wet, remove the insoles and air dry them in a well-ventilated area away from direct heat sources, which can damage the leather and the internal plate structure.
