Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your Brooks Glycerin Flex trainers, follow these maintenance tips:
- Break-in Period: While these shoes offer immediate comfort, aim for a few short walks or light jogs to allow the knit upper to settle.
- Cleaning: Hand wash using a mild detergent and a soft brush. Avoid using a washing machine, as the high-heat cycles and harsh detergents can damage the nitrogen-infused foam and adhesives.
- Drying: Air dry only in a cool, shaded area. Direct sunlight or extreme heat sources (like radiators) can cause the midsole foam to warp or lose its reactive properties.
- Storage: Keep your shoes in a well-ventilated area to prevent moisture buildup within the knit upper.
