The Dare 2b Eagle IV Ski Jacket is a high-performance winter garment designed for adult male skiers who require reliable protection in extreme alpine conditions. Featuring advanced ARED 35/35K waterproof and breathable fabric, this jacket excels at keeping you dry and warm during long days on the mountain. While it offers premium technical features for skiing, its heavy insulation profile may be excessive for milder, high-exertion backcountry touring.

Yes, the Eagle IV is constructed with windproof fabric to help combat windchill in extreme mountain conditions.
Yes, there is a dedicated pocket specifically designed to store your ski pass for easy access at lifts.
Wash using a specialized technical outerwear detergent. Avoid fabric softeners as they can damage the waterproof membrane.
The hood is a grown-on style, meaning it is permanently attached for better weather protection, though it is technically adjustable.
No, the jacket uses high-warmth recycled synthetic insulation for better performance in damp conditions.
It denotes a 35,000mm hydrostatic head for waterproofness and a high breathability rating, suitable for professional-grade outdoor performance.
The DWR finish may be worn off; clean the jacket and apply a fresh DWR spray treatment to restore water beading.
Ensure your base layers are moisture-wicking and not cotton; cotton absorbs sweat and prevents the jacket's breathability from functioning correctly.
Check that the gel grip strip is clean and free of debris to ensure it maintains proper traction against your trousers.
To ensure the longevity of your Dare 2b Eagle IV, keep the fabric clean of dirt and oil which can degrade the DWR coating. Use a technical gear wash specifically designed for waterproof membranes rather than standard laundry detergents. To maintain the waterproof performance, tumble dry on a low setting occasionally to reactivate the water-repellent treatment. When storing, ensure the jacket is completely dry to prevent mildew. Adjust the hem and cuffs to your preference before heading out to ensure no heat escapes during high-wind chairlift rides.
