The Dare 2b Eagle IV Ski Jacket is a high-performance outer layer designed for adult skiers who demand maximum protection against harsh mountain environments. Featuring advanced ARED 35/35K waterproof and breathable fabric, it ensures you stay dry and comfortable even in heavy snow, though the high-warmth padding may be slightly too insulated for mild spring skiing days. This jacket integrates essential technical features, including a dedicated ski pass pocket and a detachable snowskirt, making it an excellent choice for full-day alpine excursions.

Yes, while designed for skiing, its windproof and waterproof features make it excellent for harsh winter conditions or cold, wet commutes.

Yes, the jacket is equipped with a detachable snowskirt to accommodate different preferences or off-mountain use.
The lens wipe is typically attached by a tether. It is best cleaned by gently rinsing in cool water and allowing it to air dry without harsh chemicals.
The jacket is constructed from high-performance polyester with recycled insulation and a specialized technical membrane.
The DWR finish needs replenishing. Use a spray-on or wash-in DWR revitalizer to restore the water-repellent coating.
Ensure your base layers are moisture-wicking and not made of cotton. Adjust the jacket's cuffs or loosen layers to allow for better heat dissipation.
To ensure the longevity of your Dare 2b Eagle IV, keep the fabric clean to maintain its breathability. Use a technical cleaner specifically designed for waterproof membranes rather than standard laundry detergents. For setup, simply adjust the hem and cuff toggles to your preferred fit before heading out. When storing, ensure the jacket is completely dry to prevent mildew, and hang it on a sturdy hanger to maintain the shape of the padding. Taped seams are durable but should be handled with care to avoid snagging on sharp objects like ski edges or branches.
