The Dare 2b Eagle IV Ski Jacket is a high-performance outer layer designed for adult skiers who demand durability and weather protection on the slopes. Built with ARED 35/35K waterproof fabric and recycled insulation, it excels at keeping you dry and warm in harsh mountain conditions; however, its heavy-duty construction means it is specifically optimized for alpine activities rather than lightweight casual wear.

Yes, the jacket features fully taped seams to ensure complete waterproof integrity.
Yes, but always follow the care label instructions; use a gentle cycle with a technical detergent and never use fabric softeners.
The DWR finish may be worn out; re-apply a DWR spray treatment and tumble dry on a low setting to reactivate the coating.
Ensure you are using moisture-wicking base layers; cotton layers trap sweat, which can make you feel cold and damp.
To maintain the jacket's performance, ensure all seams remain clean and the zippers are closed before washing. Use a technical fabric cleaner specifically designed for waterproof membranes to avoid stripping the durable water repellent (DWR) finish. Always avoid fabric softeners, as they can clog the breathability of the pores. Store the jacket on a sturdy hanger in a cool, dry place to maintain the loft of the recycled insulation. Check that the adjustable cuffs are cinched over gloves for maximum protection against wind chill.
