Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
The Hoka Clifton 10 Trainers are ready to wear straight out of the box. The primary setup involves lacing them to your preferred tightness using the double-lace lock system to ensure a secure and personalized fit. Ensure the tongue is centered before tying your laces.
Compatibility:
- Surface: Optimized for road running and other hard, even surfaces. Suitable for treadmill use.
- Foot Type: Designed as a neutral shoe, it is compatible with a wide range of foot types and pronation patterns. It does not feature prescriptive stability elements.
Care:
- Cleaning: Spot clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid machine washing or submerging in water, as this can damage the materials and adhesives.
- Drying: Allow the shoes to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources like radiators or sunlight. Stuffing them with newspaper can help absorb moisture and maintain shape.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place. Avoid leaving them in hot cars or direct sunlight for extended periods.
- Maintenance: Regularly check the outsole for wear and tear. Rotate with other shoes if possible to extend the lifespan of the cushioning.
