The Extreme Comfort foam footbed is an integral part of the boot's design, providing optimal cushioning and support. It is generally not designed to be removable or replaceable for custom orthotics without potentially affecting the boot's comfort and structure.

For optimal comfort and to prevent rubbing, we recommend wearing quality socks made from breathable materials like cotton or wool blends. The thickness can vary based on personal preference and weather conditions.

The frequency of conditioning depends on how often you wear the boots and the environmental conditions. As a general guideline, conditioning every 1 to 3 months will help keep the beeswax leather supple, prevent drying, and maintain its rich appearance.

Premium leather, especially a high-top design, often requires a brief break-in period. Wear your boots for shorter durations initially, perhaps an hour or two at a time, to allow the leather and the Extreme Comfort foam footbed to mold to your foot's unique shape. The material will soften with use.

Clean the leather thoroughly with a soft, damp cloth or a dedicated leather cleaner. Once dry, apply a quality beeswax leather conditioner or balm using a clean cloth. This will nourish the leather, restore moisture, and often diminish the appearance of minor scuffs. Regular conditioning is key to maintaining the leather's health.

Ensure you are tying a secure knot. A double knot or a surgeon's knot can significantly improve lace retention. Also, inspect the laces for wear and tear; if they are frayed or stretched, replacing them with new, durable laces can solve the issue.
