The premium beeswax leather upper is not inherently waterproof. It offers some natural resistance to light moisture, but for significant wet conditions, we highly recommend applying a dedicated leather waterproofing spray or wax to enhance protection.

Clarks footwear generally fits true to size. We recommend trying them on to ensure the best fit, making sure there's about a thumb's width space between your longest toe and the end of the boot. If you're unsure, consult a Clarks size guide or visit a retailer for a fitting.

The Brodin Mid features an 'Extreme Comfort foam footbed' which is designed to provide integrated, lasting cushioning. While it can often be carefully removed for cleaning or to insert custom orthotics, its primary function is an integral part of the boot's comfort system. Check if the footbed is glued down before attempting removal.

For optimal comfort, breathability, and to protect the leather lining, we recommend wearing quality cotton, merino wool, or a blended fabric sock. Avoid very thin dress socks or overly thick athletic socks that might alter the intended fit or cause excessive rubbing.

While the high-top design offers some ankle coverage, the Brodin Mid is not specifically insulated for extreme cold or designed for heavy snow and ice. For winter wear, apply a water protector and pair with warm socks. They are best suited for mild to moderate winter conditions.

Beeswax leather is a type of full-grain leather that has been treated with natural waxes, including beeswax. This treatment gives the leather a distinctive slightly waxy feel, a subtle sheen, and enhanced durability. It also provides some natural water resistance and is known to develop a rich, unique patina over time as it's worn.

Clean the affected area with a soft, damp cloth. Once dry, apply a suitable beeswax leather conditioner or a colored polish that matches the boot's shade. Buff gently with a soft brush or clean cloth to restore its sheen and suppleness.

Often, a squeak comes from friction between the footbed and the sole, or from trapped debris. Remove the footbed and check underneath for any small stones or grit.
