Setup, Compatibility & Care
Preparation: Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, and loose paint. Fill any cracks or holes and sand smooth. Prime bare wood or metal surfaces with an appropriate solvent-based primer. For previously painted surfaces, a mist coat may be beneficial for optimal adhesion.
Compatibility: This paint is suitable for use on interior walls, ceilings, wood, and metal. It is generally compatible with most standard primers and undercoats. Ensure it is applied to a properly prepared surface for best results.
Application: Stir the paint thoroughly before use. Apply using a good quality brush or roller. For spraying, thin slightly with white spirit if necessary and follow manufacturer guidelines for spray equipment. Apply in thin, even coats, allowing adequate drying time between coats.
Care and Cleaning: Allow the paint to cure fully (typically 7 days) before heavy cleaning. For general maintenance, wipe clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners or excessive scrubbing. Cleanup of brushes and equipment should be done immediately after use with white spirit or a suitable solvent.
