The Elevate Baits Super Squid Pillows are designed for serious carp anglers who need versatile, high-visibility hookbaits to increase their catch rate. These pop-up pillows excel as both toppers for bottom baits to create balanced presentations and as standalone single hookbaits for refined fishing scenarios. While they offer excellent buoyancy and attraction, users should note that the washed-out pastel pink aesthetic is specifically engineered for pressured waters where bright, unnatural colors might spook wary fish.

Yes, their high buoyancy and visual profile make them suitable for use as small pop-ups on short to medium-length zig rigs.
These are shelf-life hookbaits, making them convenient for long sessions and spontaneous fishing trips.
The color is designed to look 'washed-out' immediately, which mimics a bait that has been on the lake bed for a while, appearing safer to carp.
The pack contains a generous mix of 10mm and 12mm pillows, designed to last through multiple sessions.
While they are already highly attractive, you can add a small amount of liquid booster to the tub to intensify the scent, provided you do not oversaturate them.
Ensure your hook size is appropriate for the pillow size; excessive metal weight or heavy terminal tackle can sink the bait.
This is normal due to the attractants; ensure the lid is tightened fully between sessions to keep the pillows in optimal condition.
To maximize the effectiveness of the Super Squid Pillows, ensure your rig components match the bait size; for instance, use small swivels or bait screws to avoid overriding the buoyancy of the 10mm pillows. When storing, keep the tub sealed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve the attractant profile. If you find the hookbait is sinking too quickly when used as a topper, check that your bottom bait is not oversaturated with water before adding the pillow.
