Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
Your On Cloudrunner 2 Waterproof shoes require minimal setup. Simply lace them up to your desired tightness, ensuring a snug yet comfortable fit that allows for natural foot movement. We recommend trying them on with the type of socks you typically wear for running.
Compatibility
These shoes are designed for adults and are specified as a Female fit, though the general Cloudrunner series often caters to a broad range of foot types and running styles. They are compatible with various running gaits, providing neutral support with a focus on cushioning and stability. Ensure you select your correct UK shoe size for optimal performance and comfort.
Care Instructions
Proper care will extend the lifespan and maintain the performance of your waterproof running shoes:
- Cleaning: Gently hand wash your shoes using lukewarm water and a mild soap. Avoid harsh detergents or bleach, as these can damage the waterproof membrane and materials. Use a soft brush or cloth to remove dirt from the mesh upper and outsole.
- Drying: Always air dry your shoes at room temperature. Avoid direct heat sources like radiators, hair dryers, or direct sunlight, which can degrade materials and compromise the waterproof properties. Stuffing them with newspaper can help absorb moisture and maintain shape.
- Waterproof Maintenance: Over time, the outer water-repellent (DWR) coating may wear off. If you notice water soaking into the outer fabric instead of beading up, you can re-apply a DWR spray specifically designed for footwear to restore its water-shedding capabilities.
- Storage: Store your shoes in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use.
