Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your HOKA Bondi 9 shoes last as long as possible, follow these care guidelines:
- Break-in Period: While comfortable out of the box, allow 20-30 miles for the foam to settle and the knit upper to contour to your foot shape.
- Cleaning: Use a soft-bristled brush to remove dried mud or dirt. If needed, clean with a damp cloth and mild, non-detergent soap. Avoid submerging the shoes in water.
- Drying: Air dry naturally at room temperature. Never place these shoes in a washing machine or dryer, as high heat can damage the midsole foam and adhesives.
- Storage: Keep in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight to prevent the materials from drying out or prematurely cracking.
