The HOKA Bondi 9 is designed for adult male runners seeking maximum plushness and impact protection for everyday high-mileage training. It features a completely overhauled design with increased stack height and a premium super-critical foam midsole that provides a responsive, soft ride; however, its substantial cushioning profile may feel too bulky for runners who prefer a lightweight, ground-feel experience.

While the Durabrasion rubber provides grip, the shoe is primarily designed for road use; it is best suited for paved paths or light, groomed trails.
The MPN references indicate specific width availability; please check the product designation for 'EE' or wide-fit indicators to ensure proper volume.
Generally, high-cushion running shoes should be replaced every 400-500 miles, depending on your weight, running surface, and gait.
No, machine washing can cause the foam to lose its structural integrity and can ruin the adhesive bonds in the upper.
Yes, you can use any standard replacement athletic lace if the original set becomes worn or frayed.
The extended heel tab acts as a physical handle, reducing friction on the heel collar and making it easier to pull the shoe on without crushing the back of the heel.
Try adjusting the lacing technique, such as using a window-lacing method to relieve pressure on the midfoot area.
Ensure you are wearing moisture-wicking synthetic running socks rather than cotton, which traps heat.
To ensure the longevity of your HOKA Bondi 9, use the traditional lacing system to achieve a secure lockdown that prevents heel slippage without creating pressure points. The shoe is compatible with standard orthotics if extra arch support is required.
