Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Lacing: Ensure your boots are laced securely but comfortably. The low-cut Flyknit collar is designed for a snug fit; adjust laces to personalize the fit around your midfoot.
- Break-in Period: While designed for immediate comfort, specialized materials like Gripknit and Flyknit may benefit from a short break-in period. Wear them for light training sessions before competitive matches to allow them to mold to your feet.
Compatibility
These boots are Firm Ground (FG) football boots. They are specifically designed for optimal performance on natural grass pitches that are firm and dry. Using them on other surfaces, such as artificial grass (AG), soft ground (SG), or indoor courts, will not only diminish their performance but may also lead to premature wear or potential injury.
Care
- Cleaning After Use: After each use, remove any excess mud or dirt using a soft brush or damp cloth. Avoid harsh scrubbing to protect the Gripknit surface.
- Drying: Air dry your boots at room temperature. Do not expose them to direct heat sources (e.g., radiators, direct sunlight, tumble dryers) as this can damage the materials and adhesives.
- Storage: Store your boots in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Using boot trees or stuffing them with newspaper can help maintain their shape.
- Avoid Machine Washing: Do not machine wash your boots, as this can degrade the materials and structural integrity.
