The Dr. Martens 1460 Vegan Lace Up Boots are designed for adults seeking the iconic look and durability of the classic 8-eye silhouette without the use of animal products. Featuring a high-shine synthetic 'Felix Rub Off' finish, these boots provide the signature air-cushioned comfort and Goodyear-welted construction expected from the brand, though they may require an initial break-in period common with classic Doc Martens footwear.

No, the 1460 Vegan series is made from 100% synthetic materials, including the 'Felix Rub Off' upper.
Simply wipe them down with a damp cloth to remove dirt. Do not use standard leather care products.
Yes, the PVC sole is designed to be oil, fat, and abrasion-resistant with good slip resistance.
Like all 1460 models, there may be a break-in period. We recommend wearing thick socks and starting with shorter walks.
Yes, these are designed as unisex footwear, suitable for both men and women.
It is a construction method where the upper and sole are heat-sealed and sewn together, providing superior durability compared to glued footwear.
This is common with new Dr. Martens. Wear them for short intervals with thick socks to help the material soften and mold to your feet.
Use a soft, damp cloth to gently wipe the area. Avoid abrasive sponges which can damage the high-shine finish.
To ensure your boots last as long as possible, proper care is essential. Unlike traditional leather that may require polishes or conditioners, the synthetic upper of the 1460 Vegan should be treated differently. Clean away dirt or debris using only a damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners, leather polishes, or heavy-duty waxes, as these can strip the synthetic finish or leave residue on the material. Ensure the laces are tightened properly to your comfort level upon first wear to facilitate the break-in process, allowing the synthetic material to mold to your foot shape naturally.
