Setup (Molding)
- Boil water in a pot. Once boiling, remove from heat.
- Submerge the mouthguard in the hot water for approximately 30-60 seconds (refer to specific instructions in the product packaging, as times may vary).
- Carefully remove the mouthguard from the hot water using a slotted spoon.
- Briefly dip it in cold water (1-2 seconds) to cool the outer layer slightly, making it safe to handle.
- Place the mouthguard in your mouth, centering it on your upper teeth. Bite down firmly and suck out all the air and water, using your fingers to press the mouthguard against your gums and teeth for a tight fit.
- Hold this position for about 30 seconds.
- Remove and cool under cold tap water for 30 seconds to set the mold.
- Test the fit. If it's not ideal, you may be able to repeat the molding process once or twice.
