Setup:
- Initial Wear: When first putting on your Phantom 6 Elite FG boots, gently stretch the Flyknit collar to slide your foot in. The snug fit is designed for optimal performance.
- Lacing: Secure the laces firmly but not overly tight. Ensure an even pressure distribution across the top of your foot for comfort and lockdown.
- Break-In: Like all performance footwear, a short break-in period during light training sessions is recommended to allow the boots to mold to your foot shape for maximum comfort and feel.
Compatibility:
These boots are specifically engineered for Firm Ground (FG) surfaces. This includes natural grass pitches that are dry or slightly damp. Using them on artificial turf (AG) or very wet/soft ground (SG) can lead to premature wear of the soleplate and may compromise performance or risk injury.
Care:
- Cleaning: After each use, remove loose dirt with a soft brush. Wipe the boots down with a damp cloth. For stubborn dirt, use a mild soap solution and a soft sponge.
- Drying: Allow boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Avoid direct heat sources like radiators or sunlight, as this can damage materials.
- Storage: Store boots in a cool, dry place, ideally in a boot bag to protect them from dust and damage. Placing crumpled newspaper inside can help absorb moisture and maintain shape.
- Lacquer Wear: Be aware that the lacquer finish on the soleplate may wear off during play. This is a cosmetic effect and will not affect the performance or durability of the product. No special action is required to prevent this.
