Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
Unpack the toaster and place it on a stable, heat-resistant, and flat surface with adequate clearance from walls and cabinets. Ensure the power cord is not obstructed or pinched. Plug the toaster into a standard wall outlet. Before first use, it's recommended to run a toasting cycle without bread to burn off any manufacturing residues in a well-ventilated area.
Compatibility
This toaster is compatible with standard household electrical outlets (voltage specific to region, typically 220-240V for 1800W models). It accommodates most standard bread slice sizes across its four slots.
Care
- Cleaning the Exterior: Always unplug the toaster and allow it to cool completely before cleaning. Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as these can damage the elegant finish.
- Crumb Tray: Regularly slide out the crumb tray located at the bottom of the toaster. Discard accumulated crumbs and wipe the tray clean with a damp cloth before reinserting it. This prevents crumb buildup and reduces the risk of fire.
- Interior Cleaning: Never insert metal objects into the toaster slots. For stubborn crumbs inside, turn the toaster upside down over a sink and gently shake it to dislodge them. Ensure the toaster is completely unplugged when doing this.
