Setup, Compatibility & Care
Preparation & Application
- Surface Preparation: Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry, and free from loose or flaking paint. Fill any cracks or holes with appropriate filler and sand smooth. For bare or porous surfaces (e.g., new plaster), a suitable primer or mist coat may be required for optimal adhesion.
- Stirring: Stir the paint thoroughly before use to ensure an even colour and consistency.
- Application: Apply two coats evenly using a good quality brush or roller. Allow approximately 4 hours between coats for proper drying.
- Ventilation: Ensure good ventilation during application and drying.
Compatibility
This paint is specifically formulated for interior walls and ceilings in kitchen environments. While its durable properties make it suitable for other high-traffic areas, its primary benefits are geared towards kitchen use.
Care & Maintenance
- Cleaning: For everyday marks and spills, use a soft, damp cloth with mild detergent if necessary, to gently wipe the affected area. Avoid harsh scrubbing or abrasive cleaners, particularly during the paint's initial curing period (typically 7-14 days), as these can damage the matt finish.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place, protected from frost and direct sunlight. Ensure the lid is tightly sealed.
