Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup & Surface Preparation
- Clean: Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry, and free from loose or flaking material, dirt, dust, and grease. Use a suitable degreaser for kitchen walls.
- Smooth: Fill any cracks or holes with a suitable filler and sand smooth. Lightly sand glossy surfaces to create a key.
- Prime (if needed): On new, bare, or highly porous surfaces, or when painting over strong colors, apply a suitable primer or an initial mist coat (diluted paint) to ensure proper adhesion and a uniform finish.
- Stir: Stir the paint thoroughly before and during use to ensure consistent color and finish.
- Application: Apply with a brush or roller. For best results, apply two coats, allowing adequate drying time between coats. Avoid overspreading.
Compatibility
This paint is suitable for interior walls and ceilings, particularly those in kitchens, bathrooms, and other high-traffic or high-condensation areas. It is designed for use over plaster, wallpaper, and previously painted surfaces in sound condition.
Care & Maintenance
- Cleaning: Due to its grease-resisting and durable nature, the painted surface can be gently wiped clean with a damp, soft cloth and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scrubbing.
- Touch-ups: For minor scuffs, localized touch-ups can be done, but ensure the original paint is clean and dry. Be aware that touched-up areas may show slight variations in sheen depending on the original application and age of the paint.
