The Ulti-Mate Wood Screw is a high-performance woodscrew suitable for fixing hardwood, softwood, man-made timber boards (e.g. MDF, plywood, chipboard & OSB), and sheet metal. The Stick-Fit drive system allows for stable, wobble-free driving and one-handed installation. A high-quality Stick-Fit driver bit is included in every box. The screws feature a Type-17 'cutter' point for driving through hard timber, a double-angle countersunk head for a neat finish, and a wide, deep single thread for rapid insertion and strong holding power. It has a PoziSquare and ACR anti-camout recess for 'Stick-Fit' and stable driving. The screws are made of tempered and waxed high quality steel with zinc plating and a slotted shank for reduced wood splitting.
