It is not recommended to machine wash these shoes, as it can damage the materials, adhesives, and the GORE-TEX® membrane. Hand washing with mild soap and water is the preferred cleaning method.

The Moab Speed 2 features a 30% increase in foam underfoot compared to previous models, providing significantly more cushioning for improved comfort on long distances.

These shoes are designed for a variety of hiking terrains, including rocky paths, muddy trails, and mixed surfaces, thanks to their advanced traction and protective features.

Ensure laces are tied securely and the GORE-TEX® membrane is not compromised. Check for wear and tear on the shoe. If recently purchased, verify the product is indeed the GORE-TEX® version. Clean the exterior to ensure optimal performance.

Clean the Vibram® TC5+ outsole to remove mud or debris that might be hindering grip. The lug design is optimized for varied terrain; ensure it's not clogged.

Adjust the lacing system for a more personalized fit. Ensure you are wearing appropriate hiking socks. Break in the shoes gradually on shorter walks before embarking on long treks.

While designed for breathability, waterproof shoes can be warmer. Consider wearing moisture-wicking socks. For very hot conditions, a non-waterproof shoe might be more suitable.
