Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Moab Speed 2 boots last, it is important to properly break them in by wearing them on shorter walks before embarking on a long-distance expedition. Always check the laces for wear, and keep the outsoles clean by brushing away dried mud after each hike, as caked-on debris can harden and interfere with traction. When cleaning the exterior, use lukewarm water and a soft brush; avoid harsh detergents that can degrade the GORE-TEX waterproof membrane. Allow your boots to air dry naturally in a cool, shaded area—never place them near direct heat sources like radiators or campfires, as extreme heat can damage the adhesives and structural foam.
