Fjällräven Kånken Classic Backpack - Mint Green

Vinylon F is Fjällräven's proprietary synthetic fiber. It's known for being exceptionally durable, lightweight, and resistant to dirt and moisture, performing similarly to natural fibers by swelling when wet to make the fabric more dense and water-resistant.

The Kanken Classic is highly water-resistant due to its Vinylon F fabric, which can withstand dirt and wetness. However, it is not fully waterproof, meaning it may not keep contents completely dry in heavy, prolonged rain or if submerged. For extreme wet conditions, consider using a rain cover or waterproof stuff sacks inside.

The Kanken Classic has dimensions of 27cm x 38cm x 13cm, which can accommodate most 13-inch laptops and some slim 14-inch models in the main compartment. However, it does not feature a padded laptop sleeve, so it's recommended to use a separate padded case for protection if carrying electronics.

The removable PE foam pad serves two main purposes: it acts as a comfortable seat cushion when you need to take a break outdoors, and when stored in the internal back pocket, it prevents the contents of your backpack from poking or pressing uncomfortably against your back.

To clean your Kanken, use a soft brush, lukewarm water, and a mild soap for spot cleaning. Avoid using a washing machine, bleach, or harsh detergents, as these can damage the material and color. Allow the backpack to air dry completely.

The Kanken Classic backpack has a capacity of 16 liters, making it suitable for daily essentials, school supplies, or light travel.

Adjust the shoulder straps to ensure the backpack sits high on your back, distributing the weight evenly. Ensure the top handles are not interfering with the strap position. Redistribute contents inside the bag to balance the weight.

Spot clean the affected area using a soft brush, lukewarm water, and a mild, gentle soap. Do not use a washing machine or harsh chemicals. Allow to air dry completely.

Check if any fabric is caught in the zipper. Gently pull the fabric away from the zipper teeth. If the zipper is stiff, rub a small amount of graphite from a pencil along the teeth to lubricate it.

Ensure the PE foam seat cushion is properly inserted into the internal back pocket. Arrange bulkier items away from the back panel, or place softer items closer to your back for cushioning.
