Setup, Compatibility & Care
To achieve the best results, ensure your workspace is well-ventilated and the ambient temperature is approximately 18°C or higher.
- Surface Prep: Thoroughly clean and degrease the brake calipers or drums. Any remaining contaminants will prevent proper adhesion.
- Masking: Use automotive masking tape to cover sensitive parts. Avoid painting brake pads, discs, or any moving pins and contact points.
- Application: Shake the can vigorously and apply at the recommended distance. Multiple light coats are superior to one heavy, thick layer.
- Curing: Allow the paint to dry completely. The finish will reach its maximum chemical and heat resistance only after the full curing process is complete.
- Maintenance: Periodically rinse the calipers with mild soap and water to remove abrasive brake dust and extend the lifespan of the finish.
