Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
Setting up these boots is as simple as putting them on your infant's feet. Due to their easy pull-on and off design, no complex adjustments or fastenings are required. Ensure your child is wearing appropriate socks for comfort and warmth.
Compatibility
These boots are specifically designed for infants and are available in UK size 11. They are suitable for various outdoor activities in wet or damp conditions. While primarily for infants, the classic design is versatile for any gender.
Care
Proper care will maintain the appearance and longevity of your Hunter First Wellington Boots:
- Cleaning: After use, wipe the boots clean with a damp cloth and mild soap (if needed). Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive brushes, as these can damage the rubber finish.
- Drying: Allow the boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Avoid direct heat sources like radiators or sunlight, as this can cause the rubber to crack or discolour.
- Storage: Store the boots upright in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Do not fold or crease the rubber.
- Blooming: Occasionally, you might notice a white powdery film on the rubber. This is a natural process called 'blooming' and is not a defect. It can be easily wiped away with a damp cloth or a Hunter rubber boot buffer spray.
