Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions
Setup
Setting up your Hunter First Wellington Boots is simple:
- Unpack: Remove the boots from their packaging.
- Inspect: Check for any manufacturing defects or damage before first use.
- Wear: Simply slide the boots onto your child's feet. Ensure their socks are smooth and uncrumpled for maximum comfort.
Compatibility
- Age Group: Designed specifically for kids.
- Gender: Unisex design, suitable for all children.
- Size: This guide is for UK Children's Size 11. Ensure to select the correct size for your child to ensure comfort and proper foot health. A thumb's width space between the longest toe and the end of the boot is generally recommended.
Care
Proper care will extend the life and maintain the appearance of your Wellington boots:
- Cleaning: Wipe boots clean with a damp cloth and mild, soapy water after each use. Avoid harsh detergents or solvents. For tough mud, a soft brush can be used.
- Drying: Allow boots to air dry naturally away from direct sunlight or artificial heat sources (like radiators), as extreme heat can cause the rubber to crack or perish.
- Storage: Store boots in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Store them upright to prevent creasing. Do not fold or crease the boots for long periods. A 'white bloom' may appear on natural rubber boots; this is a natural process and can be wiped away with a damp cloth or specialized rubber boot care product.
