Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup and First Use
Ensure you lace your boots securely, but not too tightly, to allow the Memory Foam to conform to your foot. Use the heel pull-on tab to assist in putting on the boots. It's recommended to wear them for shorter periods initially to allow the leather to soften and the boots to mold to your feet, especially if you're new to safety footwear.
Compatibility
These boots are designed for adult males requiring `EN ISO 20345:2011 SB SRA` certified safety footwear. They are compatible with a range of work socks, though breathable, moisture-wicking socks are recommended for optimal comfort.
Care
To prolong the life and appearance of your full-grain leather Workshire boots:
- Cleaning: Wipe off dirt and dust with a damp cloth after each use. For tougher grime, use a specialized leather cleaner.
- Conditioning: Apply a quality leather conditioner regularly (e.g., monthly, depending on use) to keep the leather supple and prevent cracking.
- Drying: If boots become wet, stuff them with newspaper and allow them to air dry naturally at room temperature. Avoid direct heat sources like radiators, which can damage the leather.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
- Sole Inspection: Regularly check the outsole for embedded debris or excessive wear to maintain slip resistance.
