Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: The Brooks Glycerin Flex trainers are ready to wear straight out of the box. Ensure you have selected the correct size for optimal fit and comfort. It's recommended to wear them for a short walk or easy run initially to acclimate to the cushioning and feel.
Compatibility: These shoes are designed as road running shoes for neutral runners. They are best suited for paved surfaces, treadmills, and light, well-maintained paths. They are not intended for aggressive trail running or intense athletic activities outside of running.
Care:
- Cleaning: To clean your Glycerin Flex trainers, use a soft brush or damp cloth to remove surface dirt. For deeper cleaning, a mild soap and cool water solution can be applied with a brush, followed by a thorough rinse or wipe-down.
- Drying: Allow shoes to air dry naturally at room temperature. Avoid direct heat sources like radiators or dryers, as this can damage the materials. Stuffing the shoes with paper towels can help absorb moisture and maintain shape during drying.
- Storage: Store your running shoes in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Ensure they are not compressed or stored in a way that could deform their shape.
- Laundering: Avoid machine washing or drying, as this can compromise the shoe's construction and materials.
