Setup & Lacing
Setting up your Salomon XT-6 is straightforward thanks to the `Quicklace® System`. To tighten, simply pull the lace tab upwards until the desired snugness is achieved. To loosen, press down on the tab and pull the laces forward. Ensure the laces are evenly distributed over your foot to avoid pressure points. The excess lace can be tucked into the lace pocket on the tongue to prevent snagging.
Compatibility
These shoes are designed for `adult` users and are ideally suited for `trail running`, `hiking`, and `ultra-distance events` across `rough conditions` and `varied terrains`. Their robust construction makes them compatible with challenging outdoor adventures, including rocky paths, muddy trails, and forest floors. They are less optimized for highly technical mountaineering or pure road running but can perform adequately in mixed urban environments due to their cushioning.
Care Instructions
To maintain the longevity and performance of your XT-6 shoes:
- Cleaning: After use, especially in muddy conditions, gently brush off loose dirt. For deeper cleaning, use a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid harsh detergents or machine washing, as this can damage the materials and bonding. Allow to air dry naturally, away from direct heat sources.
- Storage: Store your shoes in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use. Ensure they are completely dry before storing to prevent odor and mildew.
- Inspection: Regularly check the `Contagrip® Rubber Outsole` for wear and tear, and inspect the `Quicklace® System` for any signs of fraying or damage.
