Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Install a Curtain Pole: Ensure you have a curtain pole securely installed above your window. The pole should extend beyond the window frame on both sides to allow the curtains to stack back fully.
- Thread the Eyelets: Gently gather the top edge of one curtain panel and thread the eyelets onto the curtain pole. Alternate the direction of the first eyelet so the curtain faces the room correctly.
- Position: Once both panels are threaded, adjust the curtains to create an even, pleated look. The eyelet design naturally forms soft, flowing folds.
Compatibility
These curtains are specifically designed for use with a curtain pole. They are not compatible with curtain tracks or hooks that require a different heading type.
Care
To maintain the quality and appearance of your Whitworth Stripe Grey Eyelet Curtains, please follow these instructions carefully:
- Dry Clean Only: Due to the fabric composition (100% Cotton face, 52% Polyester, 48% Cotton lining), these curtains require professional dry cleaning. Do not machine wash, hand wash, tumble dry, or bleach.
- Iron on Low: If ironing is necessary to remove creases, use a cool iron setting. Always iron the face fabric on a low heat setting to prevent damage.
- Avoid Direct Sunlight: Prolonged exposure to direct, harsh sunlight can cause fabric fading over time. Consider using blinds or sheers to protect your curtains.
