Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup Instructions
- Measure: Before purchasing, measure your window width and desired curtain drop to ensure the correct size.
- Install Curtain Pole: Ensure your curtain pole is securely mounted above your window. The pole should extend 6-12 inches beyond the window frame on each side to allow the curtains to stack back neatly.
- Thread Eyelets: With the curtain pole removed or lowered, simply thread the curtain pole through each eyelet at the top of the curtain panel. Start from one end and alternate the direction of the fabric between eyelets to create a neat fold.
- Hang Curtains: Re-hang the curtain pole securely in its brackets. Adjust the folds evenly for a consistent and attractive drape.
Compatibility
These eyelet curtains are designed for use with standard curtain poles. They are compatible with poles of various diameters, provided the eyelets can comfortably slide over them. The modern design and pink stripe pattern make them suitable for a wide range of interior styles, from contemporary to country chic. They can be effectively paired with sheer blinds for additional light control or with Roman blinds for a layered look.
Care Instructions
To ensure the longevity and appearance of your 100% cotton curtains, follow these care guidelines:
- Washing: "Info needed: [specific washing instructions, e.g., Machine wash cold, gentle cycle]" As a general guide for 100% cotton, machine wash on a gentle cycle with cold water using a mild detergent. Avoid harsh chemicals or bleach.
- Drying: "Info needed: [specific drying instructions, e.g., Tumble dry low or hang to dry]" Typically, cotton curtains should be tumble dried on a low setting or, preferably, hung to air dry to minimize wrinkles and shrinkage. Remove promptly.
- Ironing: If needed, iron on a medium heat setting while the fabric is slightly damp to smooth out creases. Always check for specific ironing instructions on the care label.
- Maintenance: Regularly dust or vacuum your curtains with a soft brush attachment to prevent dust build-up. Avoid prolonged direct exposure to intense sunlight to prevent fading.
